You can manage most permissions in your device settings. If you deny a permission, related features may not work fully.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.
- Account and workspace data are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services.
- Messages, files, and collaboration content may remain available to workspace members or conversation participants until deleted, archived, or otherwise removed under product rules.
- If you delete your account, JakMe may remove or anonymize your profile details while preserving messages or shared items already delivered to other participants.
- Local cached copies stored on a device may persist temporarily until the app clears or overwrites them, you sign out, or the app is removed.
We may retain limited information longer when required by law, for security purposes, or to resolve abuse, fraud, or technical incidents.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for using appropriate care when sharing information through collaboration tools.
